Participation Fees

Cultural representatives hosting booths at the International Festival will be required to pay a registration fee. Details on current booth registration fees can be found below. Registered UNC Charlotte Student Groups receive a 50% discount to all booth fees!

We call our vendors cultural representatives because we encourage them to create a cultural display and wear appropriate traditional clothing in their booths. All booths, including food booths, are required to have a cultural display where you provide information and or display items from your country or culture. This provides a more enriching experience for our attendees, who may never get to set foot in another country but who will be able to interact with multiple cultures in the span of a day. 

2025 Booth Registration Fees

Cultural Display

Cultural Display booths are provided free of charge but may not be used to sell any items. Cultural Display booths include four tables, with no option for eight tables. The limit on Cultural Display booth size is intended to maximize the number and diversity of cultural and ethnic groups participating in the International Festival.

Item Sales

Four-table Booth: $400 ($200 for Student Groups) | Eight-table Booth: $600 ($300 for Student Groups). A basic booth setup includes the rental of four tables, which is sufficient for a small to mid-sized display. (See sample photos.) Some groups with more elaborate displays may wish to size up to eight tables, which is the largest space available.

Food Sales

Eight-table Booth: $750 ($375 for Student Groups). Eight tables are necessary to have the space required to meet health and safety requirements to sell prepared food. As such, all food sales booths must be eight-table booths.

In order for a group to be considered a Student Group they must be a registered UNC Charlotte Student Group with Student Life or in the process of being registered.

Once all booth applications have been approved and electrical needs evaluated, OIP will assign booth locations. We make every effort to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee a specific spot.

The tables are 6ft long by 30 inches wide. All booths indoor and outdoor are covered by a tent either 10x10ft, 15x15ft, or 10x20ft depending on location and booth size. Pictures of empty booths can be found in the FAQ section on our website.
