FAQ

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing, the Festival is free for all attendees including parking. There will be items such as international foods, art and more for sale at many booths for attendees to purchase at their own cost.

Who can attend?

Everyone! The International Festival is open to anyone who wishes to come from young to old regardless of affiliation to the university or Charlotte community. We have many family friendly aspects to the festival so children are welcome.

What if it is raining?

We still have the festival rain or shine, unless there is severe weather that would endanger the safety of our participants and attendees.

Do I need to bring cash?

It is recommended to bring some cash because booths may be cash only, but many have card readers, utilize online payment services such as Venmo, CashApp and Zelle or there are ATMs on campus for attendees to use outside the Prospector building.

Are there any bag restrictions?

For the safety of all guests, vendors, and artists who will be attending the International Festival, additional security measures will be in place. To expedite entry into the International Festival grounds, we advise all guests to leave large bags at home. All guests should allow themselves extra time for security screening measures.
